Thermal isolation: liquid cooling circulates fluid through a closed-loop chiller, keeping the spindle cool during multi-hour production cycles without discharging air toward the workpiece. Air-cooled motors exhaust hot air over the cutting path, heating the plastic and causing chips to re-weld. Consistent low-to-mid RPM torque: variable-speed liquid-cooled spindles maintain strong cutting torque across a broad operating band (down to 6,000–12,000 RPM), allowing operators to balance surface feet per minute (SFM) without stalling in dense plastics.
